GLFxis an inclusive grassroots movementthat bridges local voices to global agendas and brings the spirit of GLF to local communities.The GLFxinitiative will foster regular gatherings of like-minded stakeholders towards the acceleration of restoration activities within their degraded ecosystems. These multi-stakeholder dialogues will gather key actors, including private sector, NGOs, and government, for solution-oriented discussions to catalyze restoration action. TheGLFxmechanism will collect and share ideas and insights emerging from local projects to regional and global levels while disseminating upcoming, innovative restoration technology rapidly to a local level. GLFx will build on existing restoration initiatives, unite youth, indigenous, rural, and womens groups, and be underpinned by technical support provided by CIFOR and ICRAF. In close collaboration with the GLFx Coordinator and the whole GLFx team, the GLFx Asia Hub Officer will be in charge of growing, engaging, creating opportunities, and managing, the GLFx chapters from Asia, as well as supporting their integration into all GLF activities. The GLFx Chapters Asia Hub Officer will play a key role in achieving GLFs aspiration to build decentralized and dedicated chapters of changemakers across Asia and beyond. This position will also support in organizing and collecting the data generated by the GLFx network, including chapters from all regions (Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean) through different channels (e.g., social media channels, GLFx platform, WhatsApp groups, reports and community meetings) and identifying opportunities to transform the data into valuable and shareable content, aligned with the program objectives and seeking to add meaningful value to chapters experiences in GLFx. The GLFx Asia Hub Officer will work closely with the following team members: GLF Program Manager, Community & Action GLFx Coordinator GLFx team members GLF Africa Hub Officer GLF Youth Coordinator Key responsibilities include the following: GLFx Asia community: Act as the focal point for all GLFx Asia chapters, responsible for the day-to-day management of the relationship with representatives. This can include, but is not limited to, following up on chapters implementation of local initiatives and identifying relevant input to tailor GLFx program and regional activities, leading GLFx chapter meetings, engaging in the platform and provide Asia-based user with overall assistance, supporting creation of knowledge products or activities. Together with the GLFx Coordinator, support the development of application guidelines for GLF-led grants targeting Asia-based chapters, as well as evaluation of entries, and administrative processes during chapter recruitment. Provide input and supportive data to promote chapter participation in or nomination to identified learning, event, spotlight, or funding opportunities. In collaboration with Community & Action team and other GLF members, design, plan and carry out activities to engage and support the Asia chapter network, also ensuring their inclusion in all GLF activities, (including, but not limited to, GLF events, communication efforts, learning programs, and more). Support the Community & Action Communications officer in developing and publishing chapter-based knowledge and/or communications products on the GLF and GLFx communication channels (Think Landscape, Video/reel series on social media, GLFx newsletters), ensuring the stories from the chapters are spotlighted globally. Ensure collaboration, networking and knowledge sharing among different chapters and the wider GLFx ecosystem of CIFOR-ICRAF Scientists and other Charter Members and partners. Support with yearly chapters call and onboarding of new GLFx Chapters in Asia. GLFx content and data management: Define and implement a consistent practice for data collection and data-sharing for the GLFx program. This include but not limited to manage and keep up to date the GLFx Chapter Master Chart, emails and opportunity tracking tool, Letter of Agreement & and compliance tracking tool. Track and harvest GLFx chapter-led knowledge products and social media posts and identify opportunities for their further development as content for GLF-led media outreach, posts, publications, event concept notes, and GLFx-led events. Oversee the utilization of the GLFx platform by regularly tracking interaction and posting activity rates, creating campaigns related to the platforms features, and leveraging features like forums, live feeds, and new sections. Regularly map out the spotlight, networking, learning, or event opportunities (e.g., summits, international dates, trending topics) and identify those of value for chapters, based on their profiles, and practices. Support the monitoring of progress and activities of the GLFx network and Restoration Stewards, ensuring proper communication to external audiences and partners. Support the development of 2-consultations processes with chapters and Restoration Stewards on Successful Restoration Practices, and the creation of an outcome report. Oversee and manage

• University degree in disciplines that are relevant to one or more of the GLF themes and sustainable development goals. • Experience collaborating with international organizations and local communities. • Experience with community engagement, partner relations and growing online or in-person communities of practice is an asset. • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate complex projects is an asset. • Ability to produce high quality written content.
