We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our client's team. Your role will in time develop to the preparation of the closing off workings for audit, management accounts, financial statements and tax computations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out bank reconciliations. Preparation of reports in carrying out reconciliations, where applicable. Assisting in both month-end and year-end processes for both internal and group reporting. Assisting the finance team in carrying out ad hoc tasks. Monitoring of the time and billing system and performing cost analysis. Preparation of VAT returns and Recap Statements. EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS Minimum of two years work experience in an accounting role. You are computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel. You are a team player, self-motivated and able to work independently. You possess multi-tasking and analytical skills as well as an eye for detail. You are able to deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner and according to deadlines set. You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills. You are able to work under pressure. EDUCATION You are qualified or in your final stages of ACCA. SALARY AND BENEFITS Competitive salary. Flexibility in starting time, from 07:00 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 60 minutes break.
