Mission

• Ensures plant production target of 6-10 million cuttings at Mountain Home Nursery is achieved.
• Manages all clonal and seedling plant deliveries from external nursery operations ensuring optimal quality prior to dispatch.
• Ensures that all buildings and nursery facilities at Mountain Home Nursery are optimally utilized and professionally maintained.
• Provides extended support to all Mondi Holding nurseries in the Midlands Region to ensure that plant quality and handling is optimal for field deployment.
• Conducts monthly stock take of all plants, seedling trays & consumable stock.
• Ensures that annual financial and production budgets are achieved.
• Ensures good Financial Compliance, Corporate Governance and Asset Management at Mountain Home Nursery.
• Ensures that the Mountain Home Nursery facilities comply with Mondi SHEQ standards.
• Coaches and mentors the nursery staff.
