Overview

Axcis are looking for a youth worker for a role within a Liverpool based specialist provision. The school caters for KS3/4 students with additional needs and challenging behaviours including autism, ADHD, ODD, learning difficulties and SEMH needs. The pupils can no longer remain in mainstream education and often require 1:1 support or extra assistance during lessons. This is a full‑time, long‑term position with a high potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

The school is smaller than average with around 60 pupils on roll. All students require 1:1 support and the school seeks a candidate with experience supporting people with additional needs or challenging behaviours. The role will start as soon as possible on a long‑term basis. School hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday‑Friday with a 30‑minute lunch break.
