Te Karaka Area School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic English teacher to join our kura from Term 3, 2026.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 2 salary unit allowance attached.

School accommodation is also available for the successful applicant.

We are looking for a teacher who can inspire and engage ākonga across Years 9–13, including supporting learners through NCEA. Alongside English, we encourage applicants to outline any additional subject strengths or curriculum areas they are confident teaching, as flexibility across learning areas is highly valued in our kura setting.
