Job Purpose

The Post holder will achieve continuous improvements in service delivery and staff performance, demonstrating resource maximisation and quality enhancement to ensure efficient and best‑value outcomes, whilst exercising interpersonal and team leadership skills, working under pressure to designated timescales, and communicating clearly with a range of audiences.

Roles that require PVG Membership

With effect from 1 April 2023, if a role requires PVG membership, candidates must meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies to roles with a full‑time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. The Council will pay the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing members or £59 for non‑members, and this cost will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary.
