Description:
Operating with two years experience is responsible for fabricating and welding filtration equipment, pipe, and various structural equipment. Must use independent judgment and initiative to complete projects on a timely and safe basis. Fabricates filtration equipment, pipe, and various structural equipment from blue prints and work orders. Understands and applies AWS welding symbols. Welding skills should include selecting proper wire, shielding gases, and setting wire feed speeds and voltage to obtain a balanced arc condition. Successful completion of AWS-1G unlimited thickness certification, or ASTM Section 9 certification. Must have operating knowledge of preheat- cutting torch, stud welder, and overhead crane.
