Purpose of the Role

To manufacture, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty earthmoving buckets and attachments, ensuring high-quality welding and fabrication standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out MIG welding using 1.2mm bare wire

* Perform multi-run fillet welding on plate thicknesses (6mm–200mm)

* Fabricate, repair, and rebuild heavy plant attachments

* Use oxy-fuel equipment for burning, gouging, and chamfering

* Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment

* Work with overhead cranes (if trained)

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Maintain high health & safety standards

* Complete work to tight tolerances and quality requirements

Essential Requirements

* Time-served Welder/Fabricator or equivalent experience

* Around 2 years’ fabrication/welding experience (preferred)

* Ability to weld and fabricate independently...
