**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on aluminum MIG welding and fabrication in a production environment, working on platforms, frames, and structural assemblies. You will set up welding equipment, interpret blueprints and weld symbols, and produce high-quality welds in flat, vertical, and occasional overhead positions while working independently and safely.

**Responsibilities**

+ Review blueprints, weld symbols, and job travelers at the start of each shift to understand job requirements and specifications.
+ Set up MIG welding equipment for aluminum, including gas selection, wire type, and heat settings, rather than only operating preconfigured machines.
+ Position and secure large assemblies using jigs, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit-up prior to welding.
+ Perform vertical (3G) aluminum MIG welds on platforms, frames, and structural components using 5053 wire in a production setting.
