The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components and structures to exact specifications. Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints accurately and ensuring welds meet exacting standards
• Cutting, shaping, joining and fabricating metal components as per specifications
• Utilizing specialized equipment such as benders, saws, torches and grinders for welding tasks
• Setting up machines according to safety regulations
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards
• Keeping track of welding materials used on each job
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
