We’re looking for an experienced Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in Whitianga!

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and/or wastewater treatment plants to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance monitoring to meet all regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and reporting in line with drinking water standards and resource consent conditions.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture, ensuring all work is completed safely and to high standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ practical experience operating water and/or wastewater treatment plants, or a strong interest in developing your skills in this space.
• Hold a New Zealand Certificate in Drinking Water Treatment (Level 4).
