Volunteering Canterbury is seeking friendly volunteers in Christchurch to deliver meals for the New Zealand Red Cross. Volunteers will pick up meals at 11.10 am from St Silas Church and deliver them to various suburbs.

You'll receive training for the role and support from the Meals on Wheels coordinators and other volunteers. Ideal candidates are required to be 18 years or older, hold a valid driver's license, and have a vehicle with the appropriate registration and warrant of fitness.

A contribution towards petrol will also be offered.
