About this job

You will provide strategic direction and lead on supporting and challenging educational leaders, designated teachers, foster carers, social workers and other professionals to raise expectations and improve outcomes for children in care (aged 3 – 18) enabling the council to fulfil its statutory role as corporate parent. You will be responsible for the following:

Deputy Headteacher (FT)

Assistant Headteacher (FT)

SENDCo (FT)

Advisory teacher for LAC with SEND (.6)

Advisory teacher for LAC placed in Kent (.6)

Advisory teacher for LAC at risk of Exclusion (FT)

Pupil Premium Plus Champion – Transition (.6 equivalent, term time only)

Pupil Premium Plus Champion – UASC (.6 equivalent, term time only)

Pupil Premium Plus Champion – New to Care (.6 equivalent, term time only)

Business Support Officer (.6)

Admin assistant (.6)
