Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Vice President of Pharmacy and Health Professions reports to the Chief Operating Officer, Kansas City Division and is responsible and accountable for leading and monitoring all activities that drive cost-effective, high-quality care and service to all patients served by The University of Kansas Health System at all locations where these services are provided. This role provides executive oversight for the daily delivery of care to inpatients and outpatients receiving specified diagnostic and therapeutic services and ensures these services are maintained at the highest possible levels of safety and quality to achieve maximum outcomes, to meet all regulatory and accreditation standards and to ensure optimal financial sustainability.
