The Vice Chair for Administration (VCA) serves as the senior administrative leader for the Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine and is an integral member in the collaboration, integration and success of the One Mount Sinai enterprise vision. The position functions within a matrixed organizational structure and dual reports to the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and the System Chair of Medicine, reflecting shared accountability to departmental leadership and enterprise administration.

The VCA directs the comprehensive administrative, financial, operational, academic, and research affairs of the Department of Medicine across the Mount Sinai Health System.
