Position Summary

Full‑time, permanent position at Calgary North Animal Hospital for a Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical preparation, sedation, and patient recovery.
• Perform and supervise physical examinations, patient assessments, catheter placements, anesthesia monitoring, radiology procedures, venipuncture, and pharmacy tasks.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and support their pet parents.
• Manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot problems or ask clarifying questions to find solutions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with pet owners.

Qualifications

• Completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
