The VDP Specialist is responsible for analysis, program design, coding and testing of format program according to customer submitted specifications. This position works directly with other team members to ensure quality control standards are being followed and customer objectives are met. High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to.

This is divided into two sections - Essential Job Functions and Other Position Responsibilities. In determining if a function is essential, consider the frequency with which a function is performed, the amount of time spent on the function, and the consequences if the function is not performed.
