Position Description

Valemount Secondary School (Valemount, BC) – 1.0 FTE – Outdoor Education 11‑12; PE 9‑10; Active Living 11/12; Shops 8‑12 – Continuing Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George). Applicants with assessment and trauma‑informed practice experience are preferred. Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or proof of application).
• Copy of letter from the TRB stating requirements to attain permanent certification status if certificate is conditional.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education’s redesigned curriculum and core competencies.
• Evidence of appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching.
