Vacancy: SHEQ Officer – Cape Town, Western Cape

Our Client, a leader in the Warehousing and Logistics industry, seeks to appoint an experienced SHEQ Officer to join their dynamic team. The SHEQ Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all instructions are followed by plant workers for quality assurance, and that an effective Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality system is in place and aligned with legislation and the customer’s needs.

Applicants must reside in and around the Brackenfell area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, review and monitor SHEQ objectives and targets.
• Drive continuous improvement on SHEQ activities.
• Ensure proper investigation and reporting of all incidents and accidents on site and illness exposure monitoring.
• Maintain all required records of SHEQ-related activities.
• Ensure full legislative compliance with the OHS Act and BCEA.
