Utility Worker

Location: San Antonio, TX - 78210 Duration: 12-month contract Pay Range: $15 - $19.66/hr.

Assists skilled workers in performing their assigned duties. May be assigned to one specific task or may be transferred from task to task as a project progresses to completion. Tasks are generally unskilled manual duties.

Sets up barricades and traffic cones. Acts as flagman to direct traffic as times. Breaks ground or pavement where necessary by use of jackhammer or whatever methods conditions prescribe. Digs trenches by means of shovel, or other methods as conditions prescribe. Tamps and backfills trenches. Does other similar work, which may be called upon to perform, and any other work as necessary or to satisfactorily complete the job to which has been assigned.
