A Day in the Life:

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the utilities department at a facility that also may produce its own power. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate with Production Operations to ensure all utilities Boilers, Water Treatment System, Wastewater Treatment, Refrigeration, Air compressors, etc.) are operating efficiently and within permitted limits to support production supply and quality demands.

Monitor daily operations reports based on quality/operation and prepare a utilities operations report.

Work with maintenance personnel to identify and correct mechanical and production flow problems.

Plan, schedule, and oversee all work being performed by contractors and physical plant employees within area of responsibility.
