Responsibilities

• Repair or replace damaged frames, springs and other structural components.
• Restore worn‑out upholstery by replacing or recovering with new fabric or leather.
• Rebuild cushions and padding to restore comfort and functionality.
• Provide quotes and time estimates for upholstery work.
• Ensure that the finished product meets customer expectations in terms of quality, appearance and functionality.
• Inspect all work to ensure it meets quality standards and fix any issues or defects before completing the project.
• Maintain and repair upholstery tools and equipment.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed while using machinery or tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using sewing machines, staplers and other upholstery tools.
