Overview The University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) MathQuantum RTG (Research Training Group) seeks to hire a postdoctoral fellow working at the intersection of mathematics and quantum information science (QIS) . This appointment, offered jointly by IPST (the Institute for Physical Science & Technology) and the Department of Mathematics, has both research and teaching components. Responsibilities Research: The successful applicant is expected to work independently on research projects related to their own interests, while aligning with the vision of MathQuantum to meaningfully intersect mathematics and QIS.
