American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required.
Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in cardiac ultrasound required.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from CCI required within 12 months of start or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI within 12 months of start.
Job Details
The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing Transthoracic echocardiograms, assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and performing exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms under supervision.
Demonstrates increasing competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
Performs routine and emergency echocardiograms including 2D, 3D, Doppler, and Transesophageal echocardiograms as requested by physicians.
