The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive trauma care and perform emergency surgeries, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Trauma Program:

• 590-bed Acute Care Facility
• Level I Trauma Center (ACS & State Verified)
• Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, includes 1 designated for trauma)
• 32 bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical)
• HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
• Trauma activations avg 3000/ yr (20% penetrating)
• General Surgery Residency with teaching opportunities
• Clinical Research opportunities

• Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship required
