Overview

Hybrid work schedule – 4 days in office – Montreal office. The translator‑revisor revises the legal aspects of a range of French and English translations in various areas of the law, serving as a dual‑qualified legal and linguistic expert.

Responsibilities

• Revise, from a legal standpoint, the French and English translations produced by the team for the firm's clients, providing a translation opinion when necessary.
• Provide feedback to translators and manage complex client files from request to delivery.
• Coordinate translation mandates with translators, proofreaders and assistants.
• Liaise with external clients, printers, lawyers and other stakeholders, including freelancers and service providers.
• Take responsibility for decisions on processes, legal terminology, and budget for the matter.
• Conduct terminology research and ensure high‑quality translation.
