LOCATION: Special Education – Multiple Locations
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Transition Coordinator will work with programs within Capital Region BOCES to provide technical assistance, support, consultation, and training to teachers and related service providers related to CDOS and SACC credential requirements, post-secondary transition, work-based learning opportunities, and IEP transition writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Create, implement, and monitor systems for documenting transition and credential requirements for graduation in compliance with NYSED and federal guidelines.
+ Implement systems to track student progress towards credential requirements.
+ Monitor work-based learning experiences in accordance with NYSED regulation.
