PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To train and assess mining technical skills according to the quality LDS principles, legislative req and to facilitate theoretical, practical and behavioural competencies to improve H&S and increase productivity according to the organisational needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential
• Blasting Assistant Certificate is essential
• ETD Certificate (NQF Level 3 – Train the Trainer) is desirable
• Registered assessor and Moderator Certificate (Attain on the job) is desirable
• Minimum 2 years trackless mining underground experience as an operator is essential
