Deputy Division Director – Inland Fisheries
Under the direction of the Inland Fisheries Division Director, the Deputy Division Director performs advanced managerial work, providing strategic and operational planning, general administration, budget monitoring, and performance tracking. The role also serves as Acting Division Director in their absence. The position oversees daily operations of division field stations, fish hatcheries, programs, services, and personnel that sustain high‑quality fishing experiences in Texas public waters. Responsibilities include monitoring fisheries resources, developing harvest regulations, managing fish culture and stockings, improving fish habitat, engaging anglers, and enhancing fishing access.
