Founded in 1903 by James and Emma Toberman in memory of their son Homer, Toberman Neighborhood Center has a long legacy of compassion, service, and community empowerment in Los Angeles. What began as the Toberman Settlement House has grown into a vital resource for families and youth, rooted in a mission to protect, educate, and uplift vulnerable communities. Today, from its San Pedro campus, Toberman continues to honor its founders' vision by creating hope, opportunity, and support for generations to come.
