**Role Purpose**

+ Support technology deployment, improvement, and optimization of thermal process for advanced materials and products through engineering and manufacturing in Asia.
+ Develop thermal process engineering capabilities and competence to meeting Corning business growth in Asia.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Design, develop, and optimize thermal processes such as heat treatment, melting, forming, firing, sintering, annealing, tempering, brazing, curing, and stress reliving.
+ Conduct process optimization and improvement experiments and manufacturing studies. Apply statistical analysis with experimental data to pinpoint the process upset and root causes, then provide and implement the solutions.
+ Define process parameters (POR) such as temperature profiles, time cycles, atmospheres, and cooling rates.
