Job Summary The Counseling and Psychiatric Services department at CU Boulder is searching for a Multicultural Specialist! This position is designed to deliver direct clinical services to university students with a focus on underserved populations. This role has been created to meet the needs of all students, with a focus on our African American/Black Student population. This work requires specific training and experience working with this population. Services provided include time-limited individual therapy, group psychotherapy, triage and screening services, crisis management, workshops, community outreach, and consultation on mental health concerns to campus partners. The role requires specific awareness, training, and experience in multicultural humility, social justice issues and culturally sensitive treatments.
