Job Description

This recruitment is open until the needs of the department are met and may close without prior notice. Under the direction of Theatre Director or his/her designee, the Theatre Production Supervisor coordinates, supervises, and utilizes theatre facilities to meet the technical and production requirements of all theatre events including Broadway-style productions, symphony series, community groups, and rental companies. This position also directs the purchase, upkeep, and replacement of theatre equipment and supplies.

Typical Duties Performed

• Directs the maintenance of all lighting, sound, and rigging equipment.
• Recommends capital improvement projects of the Theatre.
• Prepares annual backstage operational budget, tracks, and records accurate expenditures.
