Teller I

The Teller I conducts transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently while meeting or exceeding service quality standards. This position safeguards bank assets assigned to them, contributing to the banks growth bank by promoting and cross-selling bank products and services.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Receiving, paying out cash, and handling negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Setting up, closing and balancing teller station.
• Recording sales of monetary instruments.
• Assisting customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
• Maintaining neat and well stocked teller area.
• Cross selling bank products and services.
• Following limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness.
• Adhering to bank policies and procedures.
• Lifting coin bags up to 50 lbs.
