About the role
Join the team at MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD as a full-time Telecom Fiber Optic Technician based in Kimanis, Sabah. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out telecom fiber optic infrastructure works, including fiber cable pulling, splicing, troubleshooting, and site installation activities to support ongoing telecommunications projects.
Job Responsibilities
Carry out outdoor telecom fiber optic works
Perform fiber cable pulling, hauling, and splicing
Conduct basic fiber troubleshooting and maintenance
Carry out duct / subduct installation works
Ensure works are completed according to project and safety requirements
Work closely with site supervisor and project team
Requirements
Possess CA2C Telekom Malaysia certification
Experience in telecom fiber infrastructure / outdoor site works
Experience in fiber cable pulling and splicing
Able to work outdoors and travel to site when required
