Technical Sales Consultant

Our client in the packaging industry is looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to join their team in Pinetown.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Identifying and acquiring new business.
2. Conduct process evaluations and introduce constant improvement initiatives utilizing the latest technology available.
3. Maintain and grow existing customer base through cross-selling and up-selling, including the correct package concept.
4. Preparing proposals and quotations.
5. Negotiating service level agreements.
6. Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
7. Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects in accordance with company procedures.
8. Using the weekly call planner (SPI Tool) to work out daily priorities, log, and track all contacts and companies at every stage of the sales process with prospects and clients.
9. Achieve/exceed monthly sales targets.
