We are looking for a Technical Operator to work as part of our team to provide excellent technical support to BBC Sport, BBC Music and Sports Stories operations. To employ proactive thinking and attention to detail to guarantee smooth running of the Sport Production System and to enjoy working on the many and varied programmes and outputs across the Sport operation.

Main Duties

Overview

• Perform daily technical tasks proactively and to a high standard, with full checking back and reporting of work done
• Troubleshoot technical SPS issues
• Provide technical workflow advice and support to BBC staff

Ingest

• Routing and checking ingest sources and bookings for EVS Ingest
• Using EVS IPDirector to schedule ingests
• Using EVS IPDirector to manage ingests and media assets
• File based and camera card ingest using Adobe Premiere Pro and Content Agent systems
