Support PTFI’s continual improvement in its occupational health and safety management system to prevent serious incidents and fatalities and reduce overall injury rate, to develop the H&S competencies of the workforce, and to support professional development of H&S leaders and practitioners. Support and assist PTFI in development and implementation of an integrated Freeport Safety Health Management System (FSHMS) to ensure comply with ISO and government regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support PTFI’s VP - Mine Safety Division in guiding the strategic direction of PTFI’s occupational health and safety objectives, targets, and programs.

Share global best practices in management systems, risk management, and critical control implementation & monitoring with site leaders and counterparts.
