Responsibilities

We are seeking to hire a qualified Technical Designer with experience in model-based erection procedure deliverables for various structural systems, as well as fabrication-level (LOD400) detailing for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and light gauge steel structural systems. The role of Technical Designer in the Construction Engineering practice area is to develop Building Information Models (BIM), engineering elements, and structural systems specifically during construction phase portions of projects.  Position requires impeccable written and spoken communication skills with frequent interactions with architects, contractors, and owners. • Uses latest tools/digital workflows to efficiently create and maintain BIM information and to interoperate with analysis, documentation, fabrication, and construction models
