Our client based in Steeldale, Johannesburg in the mining support equipment industry is seeking a Technical Buyer to join their team

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure technical components for vehicle manufacturing.
  - Interpret CAD drawings, engineering specifications, and BOMs.
  - Utilize ERP/MRP systems for procurement planning and purchasing.
  - Convert engineering BOMs into purchasing requirements.
  - Manage supplier relationships, quotations, negotiations, and contracts.
  - Ensure material availability aligned with production schedules.
  - Expedite critical components to prevent production delays.
  - Support inventory management and material planning.
  - Ensure purchased components comply with engineering and quality requirements.
