Performs a range of routine and specialized MRI procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality imaging and safety standards. Provides patient education, assists radiologists, and maintains MRI equipment to support accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to department protocols, ensuring precise patient positioning and safety compliance.
- Verify physician orders and communicate with radiologists regarding exam instructions and findings.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and provide education to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, perform calibration, safety checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and report any issues to the supervisor.
