Purpose of Role

The role of the Teaching Assistant is to provide comprehensive support to both students and class teachers within and beyond the classroom environment. This includes assisting with learning activities, supporting individual student needs, and performing general classroom duties as directed by the teacher. In addition to in‑class responsibilities, the Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and well‑being of students during school days. They are responsible for supervising students and upholding the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
