The Lourie Center, Head Start seeks to hire an experienced Teachers Aide who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Teachers Aide you will:
• Under the supervision of the classroom teacher, provides individual instruction to the assigned student with the goal of increasing the student’s overall school performance
• Assists the teacher in the development and preparation of materials to be used with the assigned student
• Provides support as necessary to assigned student during group activities
• As requested, accompanies, participates, and/or observes the student in therapy sessions and facilitates the student's progress toward academic and social-emotional goals within the classroom
