Main Purpose
Assist the Tax Manager to effectively manage the taxes of the sub-regional operations in line with the tax framework (policies, procedures, etc.) defined by Global Tax Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tax accounting & reporting
Liaise with country finance/tax team to accurately review the monthly tax computations & ensure HFM validation as per agreed deadline in respect of monthly tax reporting Ensure timely submission of accurate monthly ETR reconciliation & variance comments for Puma Africa entities Ensure correct monthly accounting of VAT & other taxes in local accounts (including tax provisions, WHT, etc) in countries and provide feedback to regional tax manager on the necessary reconciliations. Review and ensure HFM validation of the VAT accounts breakdown for your entities. Tax working capital - Cash flow & cost management
