Overview

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Tax Accountant with at least 3 years in managing all aspects of U.S. Sales, Use Tax or any other Tax in the US. The ideal candidate will be proficient in tax preparation, filing, reconciliation, and audit support, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file multi-state sales and use tax returns using various online filing systems.
• Ensure timely tax payments and monthly accrual reports to support general ledger accounting.
• Reconcile filed tax returns against sales tax payable accounts in the general ledger.
• Manage and provide tax documentation such as W-9 forms, resale certificates, and exemption forms to vendors and customers.
• Conduct research on state-specific tax rulings and apply relevant tax laws to current issues.
