Indigenous Student Success Teacher

Position Overview: Temporary Indigenous Student Success Teacher (Full-time, 1.0 FTE)

Anticipated start date: September 1, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Relationships and Mentoring – Build strong connections with Indigenous students through mentorship, regular check‑ins, and welcoming, supportive spaces.
• Academic Support – Support student success by monitoring attendance, academics, graduation progress, and assisting with school transitions.
• Collaboration and Student Planning – Work with staff to provide culturally responsive support, track student progress, and participate in support planning.
• Cultural Engagement – Promote Indigenous culture, identity, and belonging through cultural activities, land‑based learning, and community connections.
