Summary:

Position reports to the VP of Quality, Risk and Performance Management of the CharterCARE Health Partners system, including two hospitals, Roger Williams Medical Center and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital both with Joint Commission accreditation and outpatient facilities. All facilities are in Providence, RI.


+ Includes oversight of infection control team within the Chartercare system.

+ Works with the Medical Directors for the Infection Prevention & Control Department.

+ Develops and oversees implementation of all aspects of the infection control program for using CDC, TJC, WHO, APIC, SHEA/IDSA, and OSHA guidelines, and The Rhode Island Health Department rules and regulations.

+ Operational oversite for identification of healthcare-associated infections and works towards reduction and prevention of infections.
