Job Description
At NorthBay Health the Surgical Technologist II is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional nurse. The Surgical Technologist II works as a team member with the primary function as the scrub person in the surgical suite and other clinical areas. The Surgical Technologist II provides specialized resources to the nursing department and Patient Care Services Division through their role as a service lead providing education, case consultation or other program services on an ongoing basis. The technologist may be assigned other functions as permitted by the hospital policy.
The Surgical Technologist II works as a service lead for a specialty surgical service. These services are including but not limited to:
