GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, retrieves soiled items, delivers sterile instruments and supplies to designated areas. Assembles OR case carts while maintaining quality standards, decontaminates instruments, assembles general instrument trays, sterilizes a variety of instruments and supplies.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

+ High school graduate or equivalent GED.

+ Additional healthcare training or central service experience preferred.
+ Ability to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions required.
+ Successful completion of an on-the-job training of up to two months required.
