General Summary In collaboration with the physician, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure, and competency level.
Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: - Evaluates patients admitted to supervising physician?s service through physical examination and development of a detailed medical history.
- Develops treatment plan and discusses proposed course of treatment with patient?s attending physician.
- Performs patient rounds with accurate assessment of patient?s physical status, overall progress, and current laboratory evaluation.
